I have the old, original single faucet and the newer 4…both running with the same batteries since May. On the new controller I keep getting emails that my batteries are low…but they are not, its some bug they won’t fix. Once in awhile I can unplug/replug the controller and things are good for another month. In the old unit I am using the same batteries I took out when I winterized last fall, so second season. I am using energizer lithium batteries. I even have the controllers working with my home automation so they get “polled” frequently for status updates even when not in use.

In winter I remove the batteries and in spring I place new batteries. So yesterday (may 22) I installed NEW alkaline batteries in all timers. Most of them give only between 4 and 7 % !! of batterie charge and a one gives 47%, one gives 43% and one gives 37%. However: all batteries are new from the store so for sure 100% full!. Does any one has an idea what could be the cause and the solution ?? This is the first year I have the problem. Faucet timers all have Firmware version 41…

No idea why this would be, as all test out having the same voltage being provided via multimeter.
But it’s up to Orbit to fix the borked software/firmware that no longer reports battery. This should be a fairly simple fix as it worked fine previously….
May 29, 2023 at 4:24 am #81614::Wir haben drei b-hyve Hose Hardware version HT25-0000, firmware version 0041.
May 29, 2023 at 4:04 pm #81624::I finally able to speak with Orbit support desk. The solution to this issue follows:
1. Remove the device from the b-hyve application and re-add as a new device. After this the battery level indicator not showing any percentage. The device it shows as N/A.
Now the faucet is working.
2. If this didn’t work – remove the b-hyve application from your phone and re-install.These were the suggestions from the support desk. Hope it works for everyone with this issue. Now we will be missing the battery level indicator.
