    Hello
Today I tried to start one of my zones remotely from my phone and I go this notice on my phone screen .”A pump fault warning was triggered” and the system did not start. However thinking it was an internet error I tried again and this time the system started fine with no notification.
When I arrived home I tried to start a zone form my phone and got the same error. Once again I tried again and it worked .
Is this some sort of internet failure or can you explain what this is indicating.
    Cheers

@shellant Do you have a pump wired into the pump terminal on the timer? If so, what brand of pump start relay are you using? This error means that whatever is in the pump terminal is causing this issue. Usually it is because it’s pulling too much current, which could be caused by an older pump start relay or master valve.

Hi Stephen thank you for that.
I just switched my old system from an indexing valve to electric valves and had kept the old K-Rain Pump Start Relay so I asked on a few things I’ve read and now particularly with your post I will pick up an Orbit Pump Relay tomorrow. I see they have them in stock at my local Lowes so I can install it and test it out and let you know if that resolves it for me.
    Thank you for responding.

Hi Stephen and any one else who may be following this thread. I Purchased an orbit pump start relay from my local Lowe’s hardware store and after installing it I have not yet had the pump start warning trigger. So thank you for your advice it seems that was my issue all along.
    Cheers
