Tagged: Alexa commands
I have looked at the listed commands for the B-Hyve controller for Alexa. I have two B-Hyve controllers. When adding the Alexa B-Hyve skill, there’s no mention of which controller will be affected or how to switch between controllers. I would have expected something along the lines of “Alexa, control B-Hyve-1” or B-Hyve-2 etc. and then for all subsequent commands to apply to that controller. Instead, just nothing happens.
Alternatively, the command to be “Alexa, ask B-Hyve-1 to start program A”
Is Alexa control working for those with multiple B-Hype controllers, and if so how does one switch from one controller to the other?
Thank-you
Great Question LMUNDY1163! Right now, Alexa will only control the first timer that is set up on the account. This is something we are looking into improving with a future app update for Alexa and other smart home platforms.
