I have been using my B-HYVE SMART HOSE FAUCET TIMER for months with no issues. Recently, it stopped working. The lights on the hose component will not come on. I thought this indicated dead batteries, but replacing the batteries makes no difference. I have reset connections. Nothing seems to work. Every other smart device (light bulbs, etc.) on my home network functions just fine.

Here is what your online system shows:
    MAC Address: 44:67:55:20:1f:9d
    Firmware Version: DEBUG-0017
    Hardware Version: BH1-0001
    Wi-Fi Version: 0

This is not the same as what the iOS app shows:
    MAC Address: 44:67:55:10:4E:08
    Firmware: 27
    Hardware Version: HT25-0000

How this thing could work fine for several months and suddenly stop working is beyond me. I have not made any changes to programs or schedules. Right now, this is a $100 piece of really expensive and useful plastic.

Can someone help me figure out what suddenly went wrong before I ship this thing back for a refund? Thanks.

@mike1mus, the first set of stats you gave us was for your bhyve hub (Wi-Fi bridge), and the second is for a hose faucet timer. since they are separate devices they have different product information. as for your hose faucet timer it looks as if you’ve removed it from your account. If you place new batteries in it, and press the bhyve button 5 times rapidly in a row are you able to set your hose faucet timer into pairing mode?

@[email protected], I believe we have contacted you in another post.

@Ryan – I have tried multiple sets of new batteries. Pressing the button 5 times does nothing. No lights ever come on. I removed the device from my account thinking maybe I could start over. The hub seems to work fine.

I spoke with a customer service representative earlier this week and was told that a replacement unit is being shipped to me. Hopefully that is correct because this one is dead.
