Community Home › Community › B-Hyve Indoor/Outdoor Timer › B-Hyve Timer Changes from 'OFF' to 'AUTO' on it's own accord
Tagged: Device run mode
Since the last firmware update and app update, my B-Hyve timer has decided to switch from ‘OFF’ to ‘Auto’ on a watering day when I want it to stay off.
I don’t use the smart watering function in the timer as I don’t trust that function just yet, so I water via my own set watering schedule. I set the timer to ‘OFF’ when I see rain due or if it’s actually raining (we’re in Australia and it’s a wet start to spring).
So my issue is: the timer switches itself from ‘OFF’ to ‘RUN’ on a watering day when I don’t want it to water and the timer is originally set to ‘OFF’. (when set to ‘OFF’ in device run mode).
The only way I can see to stop watering when watering is not required to to turn the ‘programs’ function to OFF so no program is scheduled to water. Not ideal.
Timer details:
MAC: 44:67:55:01:E5:12
Hardware Version: WT25-0001
Firmware: 0033
App Version: 1.7.27 (465)
Mine was off for a couple of weeks. I ran a couple of manual zones today with it off, and when I got done it was back in auto. I may have hit the rain delay while I was running the zones manually, not sure if that had something to do with it.
