My bhyve timer has all of sudden stopped connecting to my home wifi and I am unable to re-pair the timer after repeated attempts, including power cycling, pulling the ribbon cable, etc. It worked pretty great all last year and the first part of this year but now it is not connecting. Here are the details of my timer:
MAC Address: 44:67:55:00:E8:67
Hardware version: wt25-0001
I am able to connect to the timer, but the timer will not connect to my home wifi network. All other devices on my network work fine. Any help is appreciated.

hello jsfitzgibbons, have you tried resetting your router? Also please give our product support team either a call or an email for further support.Spread the love!June 6, 2018 at 2:17 am #2723wally44Participant
I just received the bhyve unit but I cant get the bhyve to show a WiFi to connect my phone to. My phone says it is scanning, but it never sees anything and my wifi on my phone in settings shows nothing to. Howver, the unit is connected to my wifi with an ip address and the wifi symbol is solid as is the bluetooth. My phone sees the bluetooth in settings from the device but doesn’t connect. When I first connected the device up it wanted to connect to my wifi and I told it to do so. Then it wanted me to connect to its wifi but that failed. I don’t see anyway to reset the device so that it doesn’t connect to my wifi on its own, so I could start the process all over.Spread the love!June 6, 2018 at 2:33 am #2726wally44Participant
I found the reset button on the device and pushed it. Now it says it wants to connect to my local wifi network, but now when it says it is scanning, it doesn’t find anything. The bluetooth icon is solid with a communication symbol next to it. The wifi icon is totally blank. It first connected to my wifi network when I first turned it on before it didn’t try to connect to the OrbitSmartHome network until after it connect to my wifi network. AT that point, I don’t know why it would need to. I unplugged it again and now it says it wants to connect to OrbitSmartHome network by scanning on my phone, but there is no wifi icon lit upon the device. It seems to me that the unit is not working properly. Perhaps, because as received from Amazon, there was not outside box, and the seal was broken.Spread the love!June 6, 2018 at 6:47 pm #2751RyanParticipant
So If you are pairing it up for the first time you need to put your timer into pairing mode first (turning the timer to off, and pushing the reset button so that it show pair on your screen). Then you will connect your phone to your timer, where it will connect to the orbit smart home network. Once it’s connected to the timer then it will ask you to select your home network, and then enter your password. If you cannot connect to your device please contact us by email or through our product support line. If it cannot connect to your home network try a factory reset and a power cycle of your timer and router.Spread the love!
