Over the winter I changed WiFi router. Now I cannot connect to the network.
I place the timer in Pairing mode, select the Orbit_Smarthome_. . . network. the app responds not device found.
The MAC is: 44:67:55:00:A3:BE
Hello, please call through to our product support line for further assistance. (1-800-488-6156)
You should also try re-pairing your device, a factory reset, and unplugging the ribbon cable for 5sec.
My power went out for about a minute two days ago, and my b-hyve timer hasn’t been able to reconnect to my wifi ever since. I’ve tried re-pairing the device and have selected my network and entered the passcode several times. Each time it says it “timed out, try again.” MAC address: 44:67:55:02:8E:E2
If your timer loses connection there are a few different thing you can do.
1. reset the device connection
2. update the Wi-Fi settings
3. Factory reset the timer and try updating the Wi-Fi settings
4. power cycle your timer, then while it is unplugged you could unplug and re-plug the ribbon cable back in. and then if needed Factory reset the timer and try updating the Wi-Fi settings
5. reset your router. power cycle your timer, then while it is unplugged you could unplug and re-plug the ribbon cable back in. and then if needed Factory reset the timer and try updating the Wi-Fi settings
6. If the Wi-Fi symbol is display an exclamation mark it is connected to your router, but not receiving internet. those are issues not with the timer. If the suggestions above don’t help you will need to contact your ISP.
If it doesn’t connect after all of that, or you have any questions just let me know.
