Brought the timer out of winter storage, battery is at 61% and when I switched it on the time was way off. Tried to reset the time using the dial on the device but it was flashing a padlock symbol which I read somewhere was because the interface was locked by the app.

Couldn’t find any way in the app to set the time, even when connected directly by bluetooth.

Removed the battery pack, reinserted it, changed the dial to off/reset and held the button in for ~30 secs while it reset itself.

Now the time shows as 12:00. Used the dials to select Set Time and pressed the button, now the time is flashing but no amount of turning the dial either way is changing the time.

I can probably work around this by offsetting the watering times by how far off the clock is now, but curious if anyone else has had this issue and found a solution?

Obviously I contacted Orbit support and obviously had nothing in response.

I had the batteries out of mine over the winter and when I put them back in…it just updated itself. I’m using it with the hub, though (although I wouldn’t think it would make a difference). It all just reconnected and updated in the app without me doing anything.
