I’ve tried doing almost everything but can’t get the hose faucet timer to connect with Bluetooth so that I can update it with the new firmware. It just gives a message saying that the connection timed out. I’ve tried logging in and out of the app, restarting my phone, using different devices and resetting device connection but nothing will work. It works fine when connected through the hub it’s just that I would like to install the latest update which requires Bluetooth.

    Firmware Version: 32
    Hardware Version: HT25-0000

Your help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes – this happened too. For some reason the timer wouldn’t switch to bluetooth. So the following worked..

    (1) Turn off the wifi hub.
    (2) Pull the battery out of the faucet timer
    (3) leave it out for a short while
    (4) Put battery back in
    (5) Once light flashing starts, connect to timer with App – bluetooth should now work.
    (6) Do firmware update
    (7) On reboot the timer may try and do wifi connection so it might say that the firmware update has failed, but if you check the timer and reconnect with bluetooth it will show the updated firmware (41)
    (8) Turn the wifi hub back on and flip it off bluetooth – should be OK

got no idea what is in the update though…

Thank you! This worked. Nothing seems to be in this update but it seems that it did fix the issue with connection with Bluetooth and I don’t have to turn the hub off anymore. Hope HomeKit comes soon. And hope it supports the timer.
