Ryan, No problem and thanks so much for the response!! It’s always nice to know that something is working “as designed”. It just seemed odd but after hearing the reasoning, I understand. Thank you again for your time!!Spread the love!September 16, 2018 at 12:54 pm #71849
Just wanted to notify you that I am still getting duplicate delay notifications. (2 for each instance a delay criteria is met). I am on iOS as stated previously.
My Mac Ids are:
Is there anything we can do/ look into to determine what is causing this?

Not sure if anyone asked you if you have both the B-hyve and B-hyve Pro apps installed?
I ask because if you do and you’re logged into the account on both apps you’ll get two notifications, one for each app. I’ve done this and thought we had a problem but then it was pointed out to me that the notification shows which app it came through and then I got it.

I do not but that was good thinking. Thank you for the idea!Spread the love!September 22, 2018 at 2:02 pm #71933BrianGParticipant
I have also been experiencing multiple notifications on both of my iOS devices and only have the B-Hyve 1.7.27 (465) app installed (not the pro nor lite versions)Spread the love!September 26, 2018 at 4:52 pm #71961
I am still receiving duplicate notifications. Is there anything you could add that would help me correct this. I am on iOS 12.Spread the love!September 26, 2018 at 9:58 pm #71963
Ryan has gone back to school and isn’t with us anymore.
I see you have one hub and three timers and you noted that you are receiving two notifications per timer.
In the notifications list, do they all specify the same device name twice too or are the device names different or the same on them all?
When this happens next could you capture a screen shot and post it here?
One thing you could try if you haven’t already is to go into each device and disable all notifications one-by-one and then disable notifications altogether and then re-enable them and see if this resets them so you only get one per timer. I’ve seen this work in the past.
If you get delays regularly maybe disable all but one device and see what happens. If it fixes it then enable one more and then one more. If it doesn’t fix it then maybe we can look at just the one device to see if we can figure out why. Just trying to figure out what combination of settings or changes might cause them to be duplicated.

The device name is the same. For instance when I get a delay notification for a timer, I get the delay notification twice each time a device gets delayed. I can take a screenshot the next time this happens.
I will try your idea on turning them off and back on in the app to see if the problem goes away.
I will also try your other idea if the previous doesn’t seem to fix it.

Just replying back after turning all notifications off in the app. Turning notifications for b-hyve off in the iOS settings app. Then restarting the phone, turning all notifications back on. I got a duplicate notification this morning for the back yard.
I will try the one by one thing over the next week.Spread the love!October 1, 2018 at 6:18 pm #71973
Thanks for the update, I’m trying to find a way to reproduce it here too.Spread the love!October 2, 2018 at 10:27 pm #71989
Your idea worked! The duplicate notifications on my device and to be fixed now!
Thank you for your help!!Spread the love!October 11, 2018 at 12:56 pm #72022
Well I thought it worked. Turns out I am still getting duplicate notifications. I have all timers turned off except for the one called “Back and Side Yard” and am getting duplicate notifications on that one even after trying your ideas.
What’s our next option for finding the bug/ troubleshooting?
