My existing system has wires labeled “GND”, “AC1”, and “AC2”, along with 11 stations wired. How do I translate these wires for my B-Hyve Indoor/Outdoor 12-zone system? Thanks.
Hello ccfdad, sorry but we’re unfamiliar with the terms that other brands use, and cannot provide much assistance. If you google, look in a manual, or follow the wires, and find out what they are connected to then we can help a little bit more. We have a few guesses as to what they could be, but we need a little more information before we can help.
Hi CCFDAD,
GND, AC1 and AC2 are the wires that run from your existing system to your power outlet. Since the B-Hyve has its own power cord the GND, AC1 and AC2 wires are already wired into the B-Hyve.
Thanks for that. Would I just cap those then somehow to eliminate?
Hello ccfdad, If they are the ground, and power source wires to your previous timer then yes capping them off would be the easiest way to eliminate them from your system.
