Newly installed. Programmed for 7 zones starting 0715 on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday.
The darn thing stopped Sunday partway thru zone 2. We had to run manually later when discovered.
The timer stopped Tuesday during zone 1. We set a new program so we could watch progress.
It stopped in zone 4. Again had to do manual to complete the job.
The failures also sent NO notification of completing, which did happen for manual.
Company told me to delete and re-enter the programm, as if that would help. We will see Thursday AM.
I am very disappointed.
I just realized that there is a short white wire, stripped on both ends, that came in the package with the mounting screws.
There is NO information as to what this is supposed to be for.
There is a preinstalled short black jumper on the sensor sockets. …
Anybody ????
With Thursday’s run, now 4 times failed to complete the sequence of zones.
Stops at random zone, no notification of completion, no capture of gallons from the Flume.
Had to fill-in later with manual run.
Not much point of having a controller if it can not be depended upon.
Our extended experience was that programs continued to randomly stop before completion.
Even after doing factory reset and reprogramming.
Even in Manual operation.
Orbit is sending a replacement controller.
