So I am having issues with my timer, freezing up all the time. Which I would hope would be fixed when it gets a new firmware update. But I have issues connecting to the system when I have it behind my firewall. So I am looking for the IP addresses and ports that the timer communicates too. The minute I connect it to a access point out side of my firewall it seems to connect out just fine. But I want it working behind my firewall.
Also how long should it take for it to look for and update to whatever should be the latest firmware.
Someone from B-hyve maybe can provide a better answer, but just having a look at my firewall logs, I see my timer talking to 35.165.117.164 via SSL on port 8889. This is just outbound traffic, I’m blocking all inbound. I wouldn’t suspect your firewall unless you’ve got it really locked down and are blocking outbound traffic, as normally that is allowed by default
