I read on one of your posts that as long as you are connected to the internet (WIFI) firmare is automatically updated? Is this correct?
Or not?
In theory yes. In practice, I’ve been running my timer for a couple of months now and have yet to see the firmware update from the Debug version it shipped with to anything else. So either the auto-push does not work, or it’s disabled on Debug versions. The only way of pushing an update that I’ve seen is a post on this forum. Sounds a little primitive, but it ensures job security in the support team I assume…

The auto update is for all versions of firmware, we just aren’t releasing any to all the timers at the moment. Once we’ve completed the limited rollout of our most recent version and continue to get positive results we’ll do a mass update, which the timers will do automatically.
If you are experiencing either connection or programming issues then we recommend updating your timer manually ahead of the general update, otherwise, if it’s working fine for you then there’s no need at the moment.
To update we need at least the last six digits of the timer’s MAC Address which can be found in the App or on the inside of the timer swing panel.
Thank you!
