ParticipantMy device says it is on firmware Debug-0013. I believe latest version is 31.
It has been connected to Wi-Fi for 24 hours in the firmware and has not updated. How do I force it to do an update? Or can you push an update to it?
firmware version is Debug-0013
Mac address is 44:67:55:40:3F:C6
Hardware version is WT24-0001Thanks,

ParticipantHello richmarott1, your timer is now up to date. Also it’s an indoor unit so it should be on firmware version 0018.
Hello ian, the debug is a default firmware, and is what it is set to when it is shipped out. If you would like me to update it please provide me with your mas address.

ParticipantThank you Ryan.
However, I still get the same message about needing a firmware update when I tryo to go to the “Advanced” link in “Update Wifi settings”. Why is that?
Thanks,

ParticipantIan,
I am not an expert but it sounds like you can connect it to your phone wifi because you are close enough to it to connect via Bluetooth.
If thats true then maybe you can’t connect it to your home wifi because there is not s strong enough signal from the home wifi where you placed the b-hive. I had to move my range extender closer to the b-hive for it to connect. Even though the b-hive could see the home network. The home network was displaying only 2 bars on the b-hive but it still wouldn’t connect consistently until I got it a stronger 2.4ghz signal. It can’t connect to 5ghz.
I also had some luck after unplugging it after multiple attempts to connect and then plugging it back in.
Hope that helps.
Rich

Participant@richmarott1, I’m not sure why it is still saying you need a firmware update but I will look further into it. However it may have to do with he server maintenance that has been performed today and yesterday.
@ian, I’ve just updated your firmware. If you continue to have connection issues please try resetting your timer and unplugging the grey ribbon cable for 5sec, and then plug it back in. Then try updating your Wi-Fi settings, this should resolve any other issues if they haven’t already been.Spread the love!May 18, 2018 at 9:31 pm #1999kdub
