I like the concept of a phone app to manage the irrigation system over WiFi but it is very buggy. I see where there maybe firmware updates available?

My system seems to no longer schedule rain delays. It shows no weather stations and the temperature does not show on the home page of the app. My firmware is 31, so I guess it could be updated to 32 to see if that fixes it? MAC is 44:67:55:01:CD:0A. Thanks.

@drichter2020 I have updated the firmware of your timer, but the bugs may be due to you not having an address in the timer. If you put at least a zip code into your timer, a lot of the bugs should go away.

    @brittworsh
I have pushed the firmware update to your timer. Please email us at [email protected] if you continue to have issues with the timer.

Stephen, When we see the updated firmware for Apple HomeKit? There has to be an ETA on this by now.

We’re still working on the changes along with Apple. There were some things that needed to be brought into alignment with the way HomeKit and our timers operate and it has taken work on both sides to get there. The last I have from our developer is that things are still progressing but I do not have a date at this time, wish I did. My understanding, however, is that the resulting changes will mean a much better HomeKit experience for B-hyve users and that it will actually be a nice way to pair and control your timer. Although we wish it could have been sooner we’re feeling very good about the direction it is going. And just because I was told to, here’s the official statement that Apple provided to us as what they officially support as a statement on the matter.

    Dear B-hyve user,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the B-hyve integration with HomeKit. We are excited to let you know that the B-hyve integration with HomeKit is actively being worked on and will be coming soon! This will allow you to control your B-hyve products using the Home app and Siri on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and HomePod. A follow-up announcement will be posted when the integration is completed. You can also check our website for updates regarding this exciting announcement. http://orbitcomm.wpengine.com

    Sincerely,
    The B-hyve Team

    Hi,
I recently purchased the bhyve hose faucet wifi hub & 4 ea. additional timers. Therefore, I have a total of 5 ea. timers.I programmed all of the timers and have been having several issues including the ones people have been having in this topic. Even though I currently have all of the programs disabled & smart watering turned off. They include:
Notifications suggesting rain delays be set.
Notifications saying watering is complete for some valves.
Could you please check my hub firmware version & update if needed?
    My Hub info is:
    MAC Address: 44:67:55:20:79:37
    Firmware version: 0018
    My Timers MAC addresses are:
    Hose Timer # 001 – 44:67:55:11:3C:A6
    Hose Timer # 002 – 44:67:55:10:2D:F1
    Hose Timer # 003 – 44:67:55:10:35:75
    Hose Timer # 004 – 44:67:55:10:07:04
    Hose Timer # 005 – 44:67:55:10:2D:AB
I updated all of the timers firmware when I installed them.
    Thanks

@MarkAU Your firmware has been updated, although we will be coming out with a new firmware release in the next few days. This will be pushed automatically through to your hub, but you will need to update the timer manually.

Firmware updates – I have posted in the tap timer forum, however is there another way for users to pull down the hub firmware updates through the app as the automatic updates for the hub firmware do not seem to work reliably for users. A manual update for the hubs would be appreciated…. many thanks
