Wouldn’t it be better for every user to decide for himself whether he wants to make an update or not. An update function which is executable on the device itself would be better, though. can you implement something like this?

    I second that motion.
Also a change notice for each rev so we know what should be fixed or feature added.

I am not comfortable posting the mac address of devices on my network in a public forum to request an update of a device.
Is there an e-mail address for support so I can ask more privately ?

The updates are automatically done, we do this because there may be bugs in the older firmware that just hasn’t shown itself on your timer yet. When we have an update, we do slow roll outs of those updates to a thousand users at a time to ensure the transition is smooth. The users requesting for updates on here may already have the bugs causing issues in their systems. If you’d like an update, you can email us your MAC ID to [email protected] and we’d be happy t take your request there.
