I have never been able to get this to work in Auto or mode as the Sensor Delay appears at all prescribed start times, even after days without any rain. I’ve always just manually watered.
Is there a way of by-passing the sensor (jumper wire?) in the box to trick it? I don’t want to fiddle with a sensor to begin with.
The message on my app reads, “Main is suspended because of a Rain Sensor”.
In the past, it would just say that watering was completed but never actually watered.
I can manually water the individual zones within the app one by one only.
Same problem here – frustrating 🙁
Go to your box and press and hold the Rain Delay button. After a few seconds it should flash something like “Sensor” with “on” or “off” flashing. Make sure it’s set to off and you should be good to go. A phone tech named Ryan helped me with the same issue.
DK….That did it! Thanks so much for the assistance. You don’t know how much I’ve racked my brain over this.
DK – thanks for the tip.
Orbit support team – – this seems to indicate the rain delay functionality leaves much to be desired in terms of accuracy
