    Hi Folks

I have nine Gen-1 faucet timers (model HT25) running the latest firmware image (41). I also have two original/Gen-1 WiFi Hubs (model BH1) that are running firmware version 30. They all have played nicely together the last few years.

Back in the winter I bought three new Gen-2 (BH1G2) Wi-Fi hubs that are running on firmware version 27.

I have noticed that in the app, only the original Gen-1 hubs have a Device Group that the timers can attach / be moved to. No Device Groups appear for the newer Gen-2 hubs.

Is this a device limitation / incompatiblity between the older Gen-1 HT25 faucets timers and the newer Gen-2 Wi-Fi hubs or a B-Hyve iOS app issue / limitation?gen-2

I have reset and setup all the Wi-Fi hubs again from scratch, but the Device Groups for the new Gen-2 hubs don’t appear.

    Any help or insight appreciated.

    Many thanks
    Sean

Thanks @ALCPHOTO after spending way too long with the Orbit support person on the chat facility the other day, eventually it came to light that there is a known incompatibility with the new Gen-2 WiFi hubs and the older Gen-1 timers.

So am waiting on a further promised update from Orbit…tat was supposed to happen within 2 working days of my support chat, but so far nada….

Copy. It wasn’t more than 5 days ago my Gen2 Wifi hub took an update. Could have been a old one.

Gen 1 faucet timers are NOT compatible with Gen 2 hub. Not a WiFi issue.

Don’t expect they ever will be.
