Community Home › Community › B-hyve Smart Hose Faucet Timer › Google standard timer command picked up now by B-Hyve
I noticed that if I ask Google to “set a timer for xx minutes” it responds with “Actually, the B-Hyve doesn’t support that functionality”. If I unlink the B-Hyve I can then set a normal timer using the command “set a timer for xx minutes”. Seems that Google recognizes B-Hyve as a Timer and allows the B-Hyve to override its default command. I have tried changing the name of the device but I noticed that the default/embedded Name from B-Hyve includes the words: smart home timer – which I think overrides the Google recognition of its timer.
There are work arounds be being a bit more specific but I don’t think B-Hyve should override what I would consider a default command for Google…
