    Hi,

Since the smart function doesn’t have soaker hose raised garden friendly choices (I couldn’t figure out how to make it come on twice a day for 30 mins). Is there a way to do a manual schedule (set to above) with the smart feature of rain delay if it knows it’s going to rain via he weather function? How is this setup? Also, additionally, how can one unclick the advance smart features (like soil type, etc.) As I can’t seem to reset it back to basic….with no features (since it doesn’t have soaker hose nor raised garden listed anyway). Help! Thanks.

Instead of soaker tubing you can just do regular spray. for smart watering you need the settings like soil type to function, so I don’t fully understands why you would want to remove some of them. If you go to your hose faucet timers smart settings under watering schedule adjustments, You can adjust the runtime for a set zone to a set amount of minuets, and change the interval between each watering to a set number of days.

Thanks. I had to slide the ‘extend’ lever a couple times for both to get it to set for everyday in the calendar. Maybe in a future update we can get a Smart manual mode. Basically a manual mode with rain delay. As for the soil…I have rich garden soil in the beds so I didn’t think any of the soils matched…nor the number of sprinklers, etc. Btw, do you know if they sell a soil moisture monitor that would update the timer? That would also be a nice additional.

    Thanks.

As long as smart water is enabled for your device it will set automatic rain delays for your custom programs. You don’t even have to have smart watering enabled for any of your zones, just for the device. Once you initially set up the soil moisture, it will automatically adjust based on watering’s for that zone and the weather.
