    Their page for this product has the “works with Homekit” logo, but I can’t get Homekit to see the device (your app does and it works). When searching for support the last thing I can find about this is that you were “in the final stages” of getting it approved–in April. So…does it actually work with Homekit?

    @caalvarez, Yes.
    we announced it almost two weeks ago under this forum.
    Google Assistant/Home is now available!

    We are pleased to announce that Google Home is now available! When searching for new actions, simply search “Orbit Bhyve”.

    Here is a list of commands you can use to control your Bhyve device:

    HOMEKIT. By Apple. Not Google Home. Is it Homekit compatible as claimed? And if so, how do you make it work? Scanning the code doesn’t work, entering it manually doesn’t work, and the only Google hits for “add b-hyve to Homekit” lead to old announcements.

    Take a look at the link I posted which says Homekit, not Google Home.

    I don’t mean to hijack the thread, but I don’t think this works with Google Home either. Sounds like the same issue.

    Great announcement, but still awaiting an answer for how to set it up. https://orbitcomm.wpengine.com/topic/google-assistant-home-is-now-available/

    I’ve seen the commands, but google home does not list “Orbit” or “Bhyve” on the add-devices menu.

    I guess I need to take this back and find something else. Support seems rather disappointing.

    Got on chat with them at 8:42. Sat on “hold” until 9:07. The rep said this:

    Unfortunately, our timers are not yet home kit compatible. Orbit is working with apple on the final stages of the verification process but we have not ETA as to when home kit will actually be available. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing you.

    So I guess I need to just return it and by something that works. They’ve been saying “final stages of the verification process” since at least April. Now two months later it’s still the “final stages???”
