Community Home › Community › B-hyve Smart Hose Faucet Timer › Hose Timer Setup, stuck updating firmware
Hello,
I have two Hose Faucet Timers and one wifi hub, and when I was going through the initial setup and connecting them with the app, the timers got stuck in updating mode (have been stuck for around a week), with the white LED flashing every five seconds. After it started the firmware update, I was no longer able to connect to them with the app via bluetooth. And when I tried to start over, by disconnecting and reconnecting them with my app, my phone could not find their signal at all or the app ends up crashing after searching too long. I’ve tried to reset them in several ways (pressing the On/Off button 5 times within two seconds, holding down the power button, or removing the batteries and then putting them back) but each time white LEDs keep flashing every five seconds. Any thoughts about how to reset them or get them unstuck from this update mode?
Thanks!
An edit: I meant to say that the white LED is flashing every 2 seconds, not five.
Hello SET44, what is the MAC ID of your Hub so that I can pull up your account and look at the devices.
The MAC ID for the Hub is 44:67:55:20:26:26. and then the timers are 44:67:55:10:59:DA and 44:67:55:10:B0:81
Hello set44, It looks like your timer may be defective. we’ve reached out to via email to gather more information.

Hi Ryan, thanks for letting me know. I looked for the email but I don’t see one yet. But I sent an email to [email protected] to follow up. Is that the correct address to help resolve this issue?
Hi there,
I am having the exact same issue noted above.
MAC addresses are as follows:
Faucet timer – 44:67:55:10:5F:86
Hub – 44:67:55:20:29:F5
Any help you could provide would be great.
Regards,
Daniel.
