Recommendation for capability enhancement: Add SW update to allow a valve to remain open unless a connected orbit water sensor detects water. Right now you can click a box that shuts down operation if the outdoor sprinkler controller of water is detected. However you can only keep the valve open for like 2 hrs at a time. I would like to add an inline valve to my home incoming water main that connects to my b-hyve as an extra zone and shut down if water is detected. Thanks!

There are actually several automatic water main emergency shutoff valve products currently available. Some are expensive and some not so much. Typically they have a sensor that measures water flow changes at your house. When something abnormal occurs the water main valve is closed. The objective is to prevent water damage. Insurance companies will often give a good discount if you have one.

Also, several of the DYI home alarm systems have have wireless water sensor devices you can place in various places. When water is detected an alert will be sent.
