Being an installer, I am new to this device. I have used another wi-fi controller product at my home for several years now but not Orbit brand.
I have bought a unit and want to install this into a rental home and I want to give the tenant access and control as well as myself. This so I can keep an eye on things and also be able to answer any questions and be of help.

If I create an account with my credentials, how do I give the tenant access and can I give him full control?

If this works, I am sure I will be changing out lots of controllers to help tenants save money on water. You understand that tenants will unplug irrigation controllers because they do not want to pay for watering the lawn. I want to teach them that they can have a nice lawn without so much wasted water with one of these controllers.

    Thank you!

Hello Pstreicher, To give your tenant access to the timer you will need to generate an access code. To do so open your bhyve app, and go to settings> devices> select the device you’d like to share> select device sharing> Add manager> generate access code. Then your tenant will need to download the bbhyve app, an create an account. When they add a device they will want to select the I have a code option, and enter the code you generated. This will give them complete access to the timer. Please let us know if you have any other questions, an we’d be happy to answer them.
