Community Home › Community › B-hyve Indoor Underground Timer › How do I factory reset the indoor timer?
I originally had the timer and remote timers all working. Then it all stopped. Nothing worked with “timer not connected” errors.
I deleted and deauthorized the indoor timer and 2 faucet timers.
Now, I can no longer pair the indoor timer; no factory resets seem to actually factory reset the device. We can not get the B to flash “ready to pair”… it just reboots and goes solif lit. Wife and I spent 2 hours pressing the B button for 5, 10 20, 30 seconds.. power on/off, disconnected power, etc. Held B button for 60 seconds, pressed so many times we have sore fingers lol. App continuously states “no devices found”.
Please advise how to set device to REAL FACTORY RESET?
… anyone? I have a device I can no longer use because I cannot get it back online since nothing seems to reset the device to factory settings.
PLEASE HELP!
(and yes, I called support and after 30 minutes of being on hold I had to give up)
FYI – this is the newer Indoor Timer 57925; it does not have any controls except the “b” button. Everything on your support site states using rest buttons, disconnecting ribbon cables, etc. ? I don’t have any of those.
Please advise.
Hello Serpico, most of those suggestions are for indoor/out door timers. To do a factory reset please quickly press the bhyve button 5 times. Seeing as you’ve already tried doing that try power cycling your timer for a little while then the factory reset, and see if you can get it to connect again. If not please provide me with your mac address to take a look at your timer.
Thanks Ryan – I ended up having to swap the unit out for another (Home Depot); per your help desk support agent.
