Tagged: Duplicate programs
Hi- I tried to change to “start time” and now I have two Smart Watering programs starting on the same day, at two different times.
How can I delete one of these ? (other than that, I really like the entire B-Hyve system) …….. Tom ……….
Hello Tom, please provide me with a MAC address and I would be happy to take a look at your timer.
Sorry it took me so long to reply . . moving into a new house has many diversions. 🙂
My MAC address is: 44:67:55:01:DD:24
The time indicates the next watering on Friday at 5:45 am.
Interested to see what you find in any case. Thanks. ……. Tom ……
You could always press the button on the back of the display.
I seem to have the same issue. I have two identical programs set to run each watering day, the second program starts after the first one runs…
Hey JIMMYFWALKER, this is how Smart Watering is intended to work and one of the many ways it reduces water use. It will water multiple times a day for shorter durations to prevent water run-off.
Many homeowners run their sprinklers for too long creating water run-off. For example, a home owner could program the timer for 20 minutes, but the soil can only take in so much water. Let’s say it takes in the first 10 minutes. The rest of the water isn’t being absorbed by the soil, creating run-off.
If you water for shorter durations, it allows the soil to absorb the water and use it. By the time it runs again, the soil will have more room for more water.
I get it, and that’s nice, but . . the issue here is that IF you
on a Smart Water, it does NOT change the time, it just adds a second program (and keeps the first).
My original question remains: How do you delete a “Smart Water” program?
(I don’t need 2 programs going off for +20 minutes a half hour apart.)
