I’m wondering how to handle overlapping zones when smart watering? My backyard has 2 zones each with 4 rotor heads. One zone sprays towards the house and the other zone sprays away from the house. So essentially, 95% of the grass in my backyard is watered twice. Smart watering is supposed to prevent run-off, but when these zones run back-to-back, there is going to be run-off. The only thing that I can think of is to swap the wiring on one of the zones in the backyard with one of the zones in the front. This would give a break between the zones running which should prevent the run-off, but I’m still getting almost double the water in my backyard. On my old controller, I cut the run times for my backyard zones. I’m assuming I would have to do that again on my new controller?

Hello CNTRFLD9, you can go into the smart details of those zones and then go into the Watering Schedule Adjustments page and turn down the runtime on those. that should resolve the issue you’re seeing here.

Zones > the zone you wish to edit > Smart Details> Watering Schedule Adustments
