ParticipantHi All,
My hub has been disconnecting from my wifi the last few days. Just requires unplugging and replugging to fix, but kinda wondering what might be up. Only thing I can think is that maybe because I have my schedules all disabled currently the hub is disconnecting due to lack of activity?
That would be a “recent” change if that’s the case since I had the hub plugged in all winter in this state and it didn’t disconnect.

ParticipantFollowing. Same problem. I just bought mine. Month ago, but I’d it goes for more than a couple days with no schedule running it disconnects and I have to plug the hub on and off to get them to reconnect.

ParticipantOut of curiosity @Phoxes1974, what’s your home network like? You using Unifi gear by any chance?

ParticipantI have a decent home wireless network using google gig fiber and a Netgear nighthawk router. My b-hyve hub is plugged in 15 ft away direct line of sight. I have two wireless water valves. One is within 15 ft of the hub and the other one is probably 40 ft, through a wall. But both of them stop working at the same time, not just one.

Participantkk. just making sure no real similarities. I have 3 of the hose valves, all within 20ft of the hub.
Hub disconnected again today after about a day of being connected.

ParticipantThink it might be the usb power brick failing. this morning it was offline, and unplugging and replugging just resulted in the green light briefly coming on and then shutting off. Moved the hub “stick” to a different USB power supply and it powered up. Currently testing the power brick with a usb voltage/current meter to see if it cuts out.

ParticipantFollowing this as well. Same issue. @staze I’m using Unifi APs for my wireless. Any hypotheses if that is what’s causing it from your side?

ParticipantSo, it’s not the power brick seemingly. That tested fine. I ended up moving my hub to a different outlet, and that seems to have resolved. I don’t think it’s the outlet though. I had it installed next to a Z-wave repeater (Aeotec Range Extender 6) that I’m wondering if that might have been crashing the hub or something. It was also quite close to a Zigbee device (few inches). It had been next to the zigbee device, however, for quite some time, where the zwave repeater had been relatively recent.
So if you’re using Z-wave stuff for home automation, and happen to have your hub next to a zwave or zigbee device, try moving the hub. Not positive it’s the solution as it’s only been 2 days, but so far, it seems better.

ParticipantHub hasn’t disconnected since I moved it. However, my hose timers seem to be flaky. Anyone know what the latest firmware is on both the hub and the timers? My hub is on version 30, and my timers are on version 41.
