Community Home › Community › B-hyve Smart Hose Faucet Timer › Including a new faucet timer into hub fails
Just bought a new faucet timer to add to my hub and 2 existing timers.
The app identifies the timer and says it needs a firmware update. I select complete and the white light is flashing. It has now been on connecting for over 30mins. The hub phone and new tmer have been placed together.
Aby thoughts
I have gone a little further now. I miraculously updated the firmware. Woohoo. However I have a blinking blue light, which means its in pairing mode. The app recognises the MAC Address 44:67:55:13:6A:4D. So I click matches my device and comes up with “Connecting This may take up to 2 minutes” and no luck just doesn’t go to the next step.
I have tried resetting, taking the batteries out, I have validated that my hub is connected to my wifi but it just doesn’t want to be added to my hub(MAC 44:67:55:21:62:5A). Can you do this from the back end ?
Thoughts appreciated
Regards
Cammo
ALL FIXED… Anthony at HR Products in Brisbane was awesome. He advised me that the B-Hyve app on the Samsung S10 cannot at thwe moment pair devices successfully. A patch is being bulit as we speak, but in the meantime use a Samsung S9 instead.. All paired nicely. The app on the S10 now sees my new faucet and I can control it from there. Its just the pairing that the S10 struggles with
Thansk again Anthony..
