Tagged: Google Home, Multiple Faucet Timers, Sprinkler Icon
I have successfully linked my Orbit to Google Home (on my Android phone), and can open the device in Google Home. I can then successfully start a watering session from withint the Google Home app, but the status of the b-hyve does not change from “stopped”, when when it is watering. So I cannot turn it off in Google Home. I have to go out into the b-hyve app to turn it off. This needs fixing pls.
I believe I’m having the same problem, was working okay until about a week ago when the app updated, the way I stop the watering is to go back into manual watering and select a 1 min duration, this will stop the watering after the minute has expired.
They appear have pushed an app update in the last 24hours which has fixed my problem, hopefully it’s also fixed yours
I am also having this issue. I added 3x faucet timers and 1x wifi dongle to the bhyve app and set them up. I opened the google home app and added the bhyve service. One bhyve faucet timer was added to the google home app and displayed as a sprinkler but I cannot turn the faucet timer on or off using the google home app. Also, if the faucet timer is turned on or off via a program or manually via the bhyve app the status is not updated in the google home app.
Another frustration I have is that only one faucet timer at a time can be selected to be displayed in the google home app. This issue was discussed last year but other than a promised resolution of late 2019 I was unable to find when multiple faucet timers will be able to be linked to the google home app.
