The LCD screen of the B-Hyve unit keeps cycling through ALL of the options and won’t let me reset the unit. I’ve tried power cycling, replacing the battery, a combination of the above, trying a magic power-up series of buttons, and nothing.

Support tells me I need a brand new unit after 18 months.(!?!)

Anyone have another solution to try before I chuck this thing and look for a different brand?

Almost looks like it could possibly be a supply voltage problem from either the power outlet or the unit’s power transformer.

It seems like one of the buttons or the wheel is stuck so it thinks that button or wheel is constantly being pressed. Did you try firmly pressing all buttons and turning the wheel both directions? I’ve never taken mine apart but that’s what I would do next and look for any moving part that was stuck behind the buttons.

I did. I even asked support if there was a special “power-up” combination of buttons to press. I don’t think it’s one button because the screen is actively, rapidly cycling through all of the options on the LCD screen.

The button and LCD panel is pretty flat, and the unit isn’t touched much I don’t think pulling it apart would fix it – and I know enough to be dangerous and probably destroy it in the process.

I am having the same issue with my controller. I tried a lot of things to reset it and even disconnected all the wires, but no luck. Looks like I’m going to be buying a new controller. It’s only 3 years old.
