Community Home › Community › B-hyve Smart Hose Faucet Timer › Manual rain delay not working via WiFi
Hi
I recently purchased two water faucet timers with a wifi hub. I have connected them and was able to test them fine. However, I can not set a manual rain delay for my programs, I have turned smart watering off, but when I select a rain delay of any time period, it does not work and if I navigate away from the screen in the app and then come back the program is still set to water at the original time and day.
I have also noticed my hub firmware is out of date it is version 22. The MAC Address of the hub is: 44:67:55:21:5C:99
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
This was resolved by contacting support (online chat) and they pushed the Hub firmware update. The current version is 0030 for the hub and 0041 for the timers.
I have the same issue but my hose timers are already on v41. Setting a manual rain delay works fine on my Indoor Timer just not on my hose timers.
Any thoughts on this? The MAC address of one of my timers is 44:67:55:10:1D:B8.
It looks like if I connect via Bluetooth the rain delay works but if I try to set the delay through my hub (Indoor Timer) then it doesn’t take.
@joshbish thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is due to the connection between the Hose Faucet timer and the Indoor Timer. We are working on a firmware fix for the Indoor timer that will resolve this issue.
For now, your best bet would be to control the timers via Bluetooth whenever you want to do a manual rain delay
Any update on the fix for this?
