Community Home › Community › B-hyve Smart Hose Faucet Timer › My 3 timers all show different rain amounts…?
Hi! I have 3 faucet timers connected through the wifi bridge device. All are at the same location and are registered as such.
We had a brief rain-storm yesterday (8/23), and all 3 timers show wildly different amounts of rainfall (Under the “Show Zone Reports” section). How is this possible if they’re all registered at the same address?
Timer1 (446755106e43): 8/23 – 0.15 inches gross rainfall
Timer2 (4467551036b7): 8/23 – 0.20 inches gross rainfall
Timer3 (44675513d990): 8/23 – 1.24 inches gross rainfall
Any idea what’s going on?
Same thing happens to me. Has happened since launch day. Don’t think they will ever fix it. In fact, I dont think they plan on fixing anything in the problem plagued units.
The problem is these timers are all independent and get out of sync. I just went through the same issue with support and they reset my location which seemed to work for a little while, but it’s off again. I would keep submitting tickets to support @ https://www.orbitonline.com/contact-us/ and keep letting them know the timers are off. No one in this community can help so just keep hammering support and the more tickets they get the more likely it may get fixed.
Try going to My B-Hyve, Devices, select a device, Weather Adjustments, and check the weather station is as you intended. Then do that for the other devices, are they all the same?
I did, and the one that was *way* off had a different weather station. I corrected that. But the two that were similar, but not the same, had the same weather station.
Checked again (it finally rained again) and the issue is still there for timers 1 and 2:
Timer1 (446755106e43): 9/6 – 0.45 inches gross rainfall
Timer2 (4467551036b7): 9/6 – 0.70 inches gross rainfall
