I started to notice this week that rain delay notices are now being pushed as ‘suggested’ versus ‘automatic’ for anticipated rain.

Just want to know if this will be the case for all rain delays in the future, or if there is some new algorithm being used based on rain probability (eg: ‘suggested’ if <xx%, ‘automatic’ if >xx%)?

    Hey BrentP,
Thanks for contacting us! You may be receiving only “suggested” rain delays if you have Smart Watering turned “OFF” but the Notifications turned “ON”. We would love to take a look at it to see if this is the problem or if it is something else. What is your MAC address?

    Hi Meranda,

MAC Address of FL System: 44:67:55:00:FA:90
MAC Address of NH System: 44:67:55:01:D1:05 (currently powered off – outside installation)

“Suggested” rain delay w/Smart Watering off – that might explain it. On the FL system which has Smart Watering on most of the year, it is now in manual as I have new sod that I am trying to establish. However, my NH system has always been with manual timers, and I believe the rain delays were still automatic last summer, which made me think the algorithm changed. Not a big deal, just want to know so I can keep an eye on it.
