Unit has been working properly for 4 years.
    Suddenly – ‘No AC’

I’ve tested everything, but it still shows ‘No AC’
    – checked the circuit breaker
    – checked the GFI outlet
    – Opened the unit and checked the incoming ac
    – Opened the unit and checked the convert 26v output to board
All power tests show no issues

    – Tried ‘reset’ button – does nothing
    – changed battery

When I disconnect the display panel ribbon cable, the display is exactly the same – all blank except for ‘No AC’

    Can anyone offer some help?

I have the same problem with the 6 zone. The power transformer is putting out 29V AC to the power board. The power board has a fuse. It looks like a yellow capacitor but it is a fuse. You may want to check that. Mine was not blown. I have purchased a replacement powerboard on eBay for $19 and am waiting for delivery. I am guessing the board is bad since I cannot find any data on troubleshooting the power board. I will let you know if it fixes the problem… if it doesn’t I am anticipating having to purchase a completely now unit.

I ended up buying a new unit, although I still have my old one.

Please update when you have your solution – perhaps my old board is salvageable/replaceable – thanks

I just tried out the replacement Power board and the controller now works. In doing some comparisons I think the bad board has a bad Diode labeled D2. it is next to the L1. It is a B160 surface mount diode. I have attached a detail PDF of the diode. If I can find one I will try and replace the one on the board…
