I seem to have everything connected, but no water flows from the guy he faucet.

    Hub is on and working.
Hose side is powered with new batteries and lights up.

When I command a test or flow rate calibration from my phone, I can hear the faucet timer doing something, but no water.

After playing around with turning the water bib off and on, and removing the batteries, I can get water to flow manually… but not sure how.

No matter what I do, running a test produces lots of sounds, but no water.

To note, I am installing it between the bib and a hose reeler. To do that, I installed it “backwards” , meaning the water flows from the male connector to the female connector of the bhyve hose timer. Does that matter?

What do you mean “backwards” ? Install your timer onto the outdoor faucet and turn it on, either manually by pressing the button on the timer itself for 5 seconds or turning it on thru your phone app using the traditional timer method. See if you get water to come out of the timer without the hose attached. Since you say you have a hose reel attached after the timer, then maybe your hose is kinked in the reel. Have you resolved your issue ?

@Shamu1023, I’m also a little confused. the inlet side is the female threaded end with the washer, and the outlet side it the male threaded end. these ends are not reversible.
