I have a wifi timer that has been connected for 6 months or so and about 2 weeks ago stopped connecting to the wifi and cannot get it the connect after deleting the app and reinstalling it. Bought a new timer to see if the old one went bad but having the same issue of not seeing the device. Need to getting working soon since it is hot in AZ.Spread the love!April 11, 2018 at 9:00 pm #1040JustinKeymaster

I’m having the same problem. According to my router info, the last time my timer successfully connected was in November 2017. Just now using the timer again as it warms up and unable to control it using wifi on the app. Timer never goes into true pairing mode with the “emanating” bars upward…it only flashes the wifi symbol. Even when unplugging and replugging, it just flashes…no “emanating.” If it’s in “test” mode like another post suggested, pressing clear and then unplugging and replugging doesn’t help in any way. When trying to repair using the reset button, the word “pair” comes up but it won’t connect to my 2.4 home wifi system. Nothing else has trouble. Continually times out. Strong signals. I’ve tried via IOS and Android apps. I can control the sprinkler manually and through bluetooth. VERY frustrated. Timer worked flawlessly through one season but now it’s season 2. Please help. Danhelt, can you provide us with the MAC ID of the timer? It is on the inside panel, there is a little window with a barcode inside it, the numbers next to that barcode are the numbers we need. It should start with 44:67:55:
RICHNREG, is it possible for you to phone into our support line while you can be in front of it so that one of our agents can walk through that with you and see if we can get that reconnected? The telephone number is 1-800-488-6156.Spread the love!April 18, 2018 at 5:02 pm #1124

Danhelt, I’ve pulled up that timer on our server and it shows its still connected. I’ve sent a few test commands to it and it does seem to be taking all of my commands, are you still seeing issues with this? It may be beneficial if we were to speak over email, you can reach me at [email protected]Spread the love!April 26, 2018 at 2:45 pm #1239skopperParticipant
I have the exact same problem with one of my timers. Flaky response after not being used for the winter. Very frustraing. Signal is strong. Even trying to control via bluetooth doesn’t seem to work. Usually getting an error saying the timer didn’t respond in time. Furthermore I now see settings for Device Groups (only in the App). Where are the instructions for that? Online manual doesn’t have them. And I can’t see my second device via your website.Spread the love!April 30, 2018 at 7:43 pm #1306
Skopper, what is your MAC ID? I’d like to check it out on our server.Spread the love!May 22, 2018 at 10:30 pm #2131jfrierParticipant
I am having the same issue. The b-hyve was connected to my wireless with no problem, I was then looking at updating the wireless connection to see if that would update the firmware (which is sitting at debug-010), attempted to reconnect to the same wireless and now it is no longer able to connect.

I’ve checked your timer and nothing sees to be wrong with it. I’ve also updated your firmware.Spread the love!May 23, 2018 at 1:07 pm #2143skiyewtahParticipant
I am unable to connect as well, worked well last summer and I really love the timer.
I’ve unplugged the unit several times, created a new online account, removed the battery, and did a hard reset as well; still no go.
Thanks in advance..Spread the love!May 23, 2018 at 7:49 pm #2157RyanParticipant
hello skyewtah, have you tried pulling the ribbon cable as well, and then pairing? If so and your still having issues please contact product support either by email or phone for further assistance.Spread the love!May 24, 2018 at 1:29 am #2180ReaperWolfParticipant
Same problem. Device worked great up until 4 days ago then spontaneously stopped connecting to wifi.
Did everything including cycling the router, factory reset the device, pulled the ribbon, you name it. Even uninstalled/reinstalled the app.
The wifi receiver indicator is saying no wifi which is impossible ‘cuz I had the device 3 feet from the router and no signal. Not even the exclamation mark indicating bad/no connection. I’m baffled.
Has my ISP blocked the device?
In the app I can’t even select a network, tapping the selection does nothing.
To see if this is a device, app, or network problem I returned the device and got another. No change.
Nothing has changed in terms of our hardware. Nothing. Before we had 3 bars on the device.
So something amiss with the network and/or app. There have been posts about a server, I’m guessing we’re accessing your servers when using the app? Flush my info?
Really getting frustrated here.
