Community Home › Community › B-Hyve Indoor/Outdoor Timer › Not entering pair mode
Hi,
My timer just got WiFi disconnected due to my WiFi setting changes. I tried to update the setting on my timer and it failed because it won’t enter pair mode.
I tried turn to off and push. Then hit reset button. It can go into pair mode for a few seconds then it is not again. This happened after I hard reset the device.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks.

To be 100% clear I need to know which version of the timer you have, the first generation timers have to be put into pairing mode but the second generation timers are always available to pair.
Otherwise, you can do a factory reset on the timer but do not delete it from your account. To factory reset it, plug the timer in, open the swing panel then press & hold the reset button until the whole screen lights up then goes away. Then go to the app and tap on the network icon in the upper left of the app’s home screen then tap on Update WiFi and follow the steps to connect to the timer and input the new WiFi information. Once it has reconnected with the server it will download all the saved programs and settings and you’ll be back up and running.
Let us know if you need more help.
Thanks!
The model should be first generation since it is 10 years old. The model number is 57950.
The problem now is that even in pair mode. The device doesn’t have a WiFi said that my phone can find and pair.
This is the first time it is happening. All after the WiFi setting is changed on my access point. I have factory reset the device still no luck.
The MAC address is: 44:67:55:01:09:16
Thanks,

If the timer is left plugged in the pairing mode will timeout and you’ll need to power cycle it to start again.
I looked for your timer’s Mac Address and didn’t see it so it should be ready to setup just like a new timer.
Please contact our tech support team at 1-800-488-6156, they will be able to help walk you through the process and decide if the timer needs to be replaced or not.
Thank you!
