Community Home › Community › B-Hyve APP Forum › Precipitation Accumulation and Soil Moisture % Improvement Suggestion
Hi,
I am trying to be more water wise and keep track of how much watering I am getting from the rain. We recently in Perth, Western Australia had a few days very rainy weather and my smart watering cut off the schedule for my water day; which is great! However, once it had removed that smart watering schedule off of the calendar I had no way to check the ongoing accumulated precipitation received during this downpour. It appears that I can only check this on a scheduled smart water in the calendar. Would it be an improvement to see moisture levels table off any day of the calendar, not only on days with a smart water scheduled?
The other thing I noticed, in trying to see how much water my lawn and gardens had received was that the interactive Soil Moisture % during these three days of rain, believed the soil moisture percentage to be 0% just because it had been 5 days since the last scheduled water. This must be a glitch or it does not take into account the rain received for its calculation?
Suggestion – Can we please get the ‘Moisture Levels’ table (beginning balance, irrigation, rain, ET and end balance) added to any day on the calendar that is selected and show the current levels? Also can we get the rain added to the Soil Moisture % calculation, so it can better represent the current state of the soil?
@stephen are you able to answer this one?
