Pressing the button (the hexagon with the b in it) for over 3 second doesn’t starting the water in manual mode.
Please advise!
Hello avik, you need to hold it down until the light goes green. Then you’ll hear a click for the valve opening letting the water run. If it doesn’t work manually at the timer then can you do it with your phone? If your still having issues please let me know, and give me your mac address too.
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for responding.
I am able to use the manual operation only by connecting to the device via Bluetooth through the mobile phone app but holding the physical button is of no use. Also like many other user’s I am not able to control it over wi-fi or 4G LTE and the app is telling that ‘Device taking too long to respond’ error message. I checked all the devices are connected and firmware is also updated to the current version.
MAC address’s are shared below:
HUB: 44:67:55:20:31:90
Front yard hose faucet timer: 44:67:55:10:67:05
Back yard hose faucet timer: 44:67:55:10:AC:E0
Thanks,
Avik
Ok I’ve updated the firmware for your hub. Also I’m looking in to as to why you can’t get it to work by pressing the manual button. Of the top of my head i’d suggest power cycling it to see If that helps. Fot the server taking too long try resetting the connection of your timers. If that doesn’t work then You could try re-connecting your timer, and updating your Wi-Fi settings. If it continues to not water your programs connect to Bluetooth. you might get a message that says something about the time being off. If that shows power cycle your timer. You will need to reconnect to the timer via Bluetooth again.
If it still isn’t working set the program through Bluetooth instead of reconnecting to Wi-Fi.
Hi Ryan, your firmware update worked like a charm. Now I am again able to control both of my hose faucet timer from anywhere and without any issues! Thank you very much!
Thanks,
Avik
I’ve got this problem. My devices say they’re up-to-date, but when I hold the physical device button down in an attempt to initiate manual mode, it starts out green and then just disappears after a moment; no action is taken after that.
