Community Home › Community › B-Hyve Indoor/Outdoor Timer › Programming the Timer for Uneven Times…
Basically, I have 3 water zones (stations or valves) for my yards. I would like the timer perform the following:
1) Water zone 1 on Sunday thru Saturday (seven days in a row) for 5 minutes each day.
2) Water zone 2 only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 5 minutes each day.
3) Water zone 3 on Monday and Wednesday for 5 minutes, and on Friday for 10 minutes.
Is this programming possible? If yes, Please advise how to perform it on timer and/or the iOS app…Thank You
@netmann this is possible. To do this, you will need to program zone 1 into the A program, zone 2 into the B program, and zone 3 into the C program. Here are a couple of videos explaining how to create a new program:
Hi Stephen,
Thanks for your input and the referenced videos… Unfortunately the videos only go through custom programming of ONE zone not multiple zones! I am not certain what your are suggesting will work with my programming intention. Basically my programming is outlined below. Can orbit verify its implementability?
Program A – Zone 1: Water on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday for 5 minutes
Program B – Zones 1, 2 and 3: Water on Monday and Wednesday for 5 minutes each
Program C – Zones 1 & 2: Water on Friday for 5 minutes each and Zone 3: Water on Friday for 10 minutes
As you can see Program A only includes Zone 1, however Programs B and C also include Zone 1 in addition to Zones 2 and 3.
Perhaps there is another way to custom program my watering plan that I don’t know about. If there is, please advise
Thank You
Hello netmann, I can verify it for you, but I would need your md address. Also is this the programming that you wanted? Or did you want the programming from your first post?
What is md? MAC Address?
If you open your bhyve app, and go to settings. Under devices it will show you your timer, and your mac address. Or you can look for it on the backside of your timers display panel. it will be to the left of the barcode.
