ParticipantRecently, the system has continued to water even when it is raining. One instance the system completed the scheduled program at 10pm and thunderstorms and rain passed through the area about 5 hrs later. A second instance we received rain throughout the day, but the system still indicated that it would start watering as scheduled that evening. Not sure what to check as we haven’t had these problems before and haven’t changed any of our settings. Thanks.

ParticipantMake sure you have your rain delay % set low enough as well as the inches. It’s set pretty high by default. I have mine set to 10% so if it’s at least a 10% chance and less than half an inch mine rain delays.

ParticipantI have the same Rain problem for months now. If fact I have an open ticket with Orbit since early spring when i started my system up for the year. It worked great last year in identifying when we were to get rain but this year it has not indentified that we were to get rain once. The auto feature work great when it has rained the first year but that is it.
Orbit did contact me for the MAC Address of my Box and came back and said that everything looks fine, which doenst help me if it doesnt work!!!
I bought this for the sutomatic feathres and it appears that I only got iot for one year!!

ParticipantJosh,
Your [email protected] is misconfigured and rejects email with a 550 permenant failure message. So I cannot submit a ticket. Also the login for the forums is broken on mobile both chrome and firefox (Android, google pixel with updates).
We recently have had a few days of rain here in AZ (mainly on Monday) and my orbit timer did not activate rain delay. A monsoon here in AZ is definitely worthy of a delay as it can typically drop an inch or more of rain.
Is there something in the settings to adjust my rain delay threshold? What am I missing here?
Anything else I should adjust while you are in there?

Participantbenny4341, Try [email protected], or [email protected] to contact us via email. Your timer is currently all up to date. To adjust your weather settings in you app open it up, and go to settings> devices> Select your device> weather adjustments. Here you can adjust your active weather station, and when rain, wind, and freeze delays are activated. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
