I recently installed a B-hyve Indoor controller and I wired in the external rain sensor from my old system. A couple of days later a flash flood hit with several inches of rain and shortly after that the B-hyve started watering. If the rain sensor was working the system should have known to cancel the watering. I don’t see anywhere in the app where I can see the status of the rain sensor. How can I see the status of the sensor and troubleshoot functionality?

There is no way in the app to adjust the rain sensor. At the actual timer itself you can check and make sure the sensor is turned on. By setting it to auto and holding don’t the rain delay button. Your timer screen will read either sensor on or off. which ever one is displayed is the mode it was just switched into.

As noted above I have the Indoor model which has no screen or buttons to interact with at the controller.

Your timer firmware was still set to the factory default. I went ahead and updated it for you. This should resolve your issue. Please let us now if you have any other problems.

Thanks. Will future updates push automatically?

As a test I poured water on the rain sensor at 6:50 PM and at 7:00 PM Program Slot A ran as scheduled. If you are sure the box is working properly I will put an ohm meter on the sensor both wet and dry to see if it is working.
