    A little off-topic but I am curious:

I do not know the heirachy nor priority hese days as I have not kept up with technology nor protocols since I retired aftet working with them since 1970. More interested in the 4wd and left work at work.

I would expect in this day and age that the “lesser/lower” device ie the Bhyve, woul repeatedly try to reconnect after any power failure or loss of comms. That is what seems to happen here. Note though that we have a battery backup on the modem. Is the modem what you lot are call in an access point?

My question is – Does the bhyve repeatedly try to reconnect?

I just installed 4 B-hyve units about 2 months ago. They work great, but our internet service will periodically go down (Cox) and when it comes back on, one or more units will not find the W-Fi, I have to manually un-plug / re-plug the unit, and it finds it fine. But this does not work if I am out of town (which is what I bought this thing for in the first place)! So this problem is apparently not yet fixed.

This is the same as my observation, still behaving the same.

My firmware hasn’t been updated in the last year and a half or two years (still version 39 which I believe is the latest), so I’m not surprised it hasn’t been fixed.
