Tagged: program, repeat watering
Why does my timer successfully go through my programmed watering, then immediately start over and repeat it, again and again?
I have noticed in my schedule it shows the same smart watering program duplicated. So it runs once and turns around and runs it again.. how do we remove the duplicate programs?
GRETCHEN, please provide me with a MAC ID so that I can look at your timer.
JIMMYFWALKER, the reason Smart watering runs multiple times is to prevent run off. Soil can only intake so much water, and any excess is just wasted. So if you water shorter durations, it can use up some of the water so that it can collect more water. I like to compare it to grabbing a drink of water from the kitchen sink. Its like we’re filling up the cup, taking a drink from the cup, and then refilling it before we sit down.
