Tagged: Schedule not running
I’ve had the timer and the wifi hub for 2-3 weeks now. It has never successfully initiated a scheduled program. So far I’ve only been able to start a manual watering from my app. This is convenient, but not the reason I purchased this device. How do I get my scheduled programs to run?
I have reset both devices back to factory settings and I have created multiple programs and changed their watering times. I’ve also checked the batteries and attempted to update the firmware, but it is up to date.
Having the exact same issue. This is really pretty ridiculous. I have three timers. One of the timers runs the program. The other two don’t. Their programs are pretty much identical.
Devices:
Hub 1: 44:67:55:20:A6:02
Hub 2: 44:67:55:20:A6:B3
Timer 1: 44:67:55:11:BA:EA
Timer 2: 44:67:55:11:E1:9F
Timer 3 (the one that works): 44:67:55:11:DB:69
I’m on the verge of returning all this to Amazon as defective and going with a different brand.
@HXCpat88 If you can provide me with the MAC ID’s of your timers, I can take a look at them and find out what is going on with them.
@Parterinflight I have looked at your timers on our server and it appears that they are working properly now, are you still experiencing issues with them? I saw that they both ran yesterday.
Thanks Stephen. They run if I turn “Smart watering” on. With it off the programs don’t run.
With smart watering, however, one of my timers, one fine morning, decided to run for 7 hours 30 minutes. Good thing I noticed and killed it, otherwise I would’ve created a little flood. What possible calculation could result in that kind of a runtime???
The easiest way to make sure Smart Watering doesn’t go crazy is to restrict when it can run. I have 2 timers/zones, I limit one to 4am to 6am, and the other from 6a to 8am (as they both run on the same hose bib, not enough flow/pressure to run them at the same time.
Same issue here. My schedules are not triggering.
