Community Home Community B-hyve Smart Hose Faucet Timer Shut off causing knocking pipes

    I believe this may be more of a feature request, but when my back yard b-hyve timer and my front yard b-hyve timer turn off, I can hear the pipes banging. I believe it’s because the shut off from the device is quick and abrupt (alongside the pipes are not as secure as they should be I guess). Is there not a way that in the future that b-hyve could slowly turn off? Sadly the banging is loud and abrupt enough that I can’t risk running the system the way it is currently set up.

    You can try a water hammer arrestor similar to this.

    @Dgreenway – thanks! That looks simple enough for even me to install! It also appears that you can install it in any direction (my faucet faces down). I appreciate the response.

    The Sioux Hammer Arrestor solved the problem on both the front and back faucets.
