I don’t understand how Watering schedule adjustments works. The initial default settings made no sense for my location (East Tennessee) where the summers can either be wet/hot or hot/dry, and we don’t water from October – May. I’ve played around with runtime adjustment and interval adjustments and really don’t understand the logic behind the option. Water is very expensive here so I don’t want it running unnecessarily because of my mis-interpretation of this setting.

    Thanks!

The watering schedule adjustments is meant as a tool you can use to get more accurate results from your smart watering. Based on the information you enter about your yard, smart watering uses its own algorithm to determine for how long and how often it should water. However it cannot collect information on everything so if its estimated times are too long or short for your area, then you are able to adjust the percentage to get a more accurate watering. The smart watering algorithm should be seen as a good suggestion, but is not always going to be perfect which is why the tool exists.
