Recently bought a Smart Outdoor Timer (6 zones). Installation of hardware was simple. Unit seems well made. BUT the app seems to have some significant bugs concerning the weather data it pulls from local weather stations. e.g. for today the app’s Calendar screen shows 0% Precip Prob and .42” Precip. How can there be 0% chance of rain and yet have .42” rain predicted 🤔
When I look up the actual weather station (KMJX in NJ) online, it’s forecasting .08” today. So why doesn’t the Calendar show .08” ?
Because of these bug(s), app says watering will be delayed 23 hours. Why would it do that when I have my Weather Settings configured for a threshold of .22” ?

So – I take the time to call Orbit 2 weeks ago to report these bugs. Guy loads a copy of my data off their server and agrees there’s a problem. Told me I’d hear back from someone in 3 to 4 days. Well, 13 days later and still no response. So I call and speak with a manager who informs me she can only fill out a trouble form and submit to developers. The developers are apparently god-like, as neither customers or tech support can speak with them. They won’t even acknowledge receipt of the bug report, let alone advise as to an ETA for fix via an app update…
I had a lot of hope for this product based on advertising claims. But the bugs and their unwillingness to update customers after we spend our valuable time documenting THEIR bugs – that’s just unacceptable!
If I don’t see the bugs fixed shortly, I’m returning it to Amazon 🙁

I attached 2 screenshots – one from app’s Calendar and the other is what the online weather station shows for today…
